Mizuno / Brand Campaign

For over a century Japanese sports brand Mizuno have been constantly improving their products to enhance the performance of athletes. To mark their 110th year we created a campaign platform that expressed their heritage and philosophy, and tools to tell product stories for SS16 and beyond.

Mizuno have a deep pride in their rich, authentic, Japanese heritage and history. Continuously challenging themselves to innovate products they describe themselves as ‘restless perfectionists’, driven by a determination to always better their best. This is a story we knew would resonate with athletes and paralleled their own motivations.

Working in partnership with brand consultant Number One Son, we translated the positioning into a new call to action for both Mizuno and for their athletes – Never Stop Pushing. A mantra that is constantly reinforced through imagery and product benefits. The campaign is brought to life across print and digital advertising, retail marketing materials, online channels and PR.

Shooting both stills and video the campaign was captured in just two days in and around Barcelona by photographer Sam Robinson and his team.
